About PilotCite
PilotCite is an AI visibility monitoring platform. It tracks when and how AI engines — ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and Grok — mention or cite a brand in their answers, measures share of voice against competitors, and helps close the gaps with research-grounded content and an AI-readability site audit.
Why we built it
Buying research is moving into AI answers, and the losing is silent: no impression, no click, no analytics row — just a recommendation you weren't part of. We wanted the boring, trustworthy instrument for that new surface: scheduled measurement, real denominators, and every metric traceable to the actual answer text and sources that produced it. Then — because measurement alone changes nothing — the action layer to do something about it.
What we believe about this category
- Evidence over vibes. Every number should open into the answer that produced it. Screenshots and anecdotes are how teams fool themselves.
- Rates over snapshots. AI answers vary run to run; only scheduled monitoring produces numbers worth acting on.
- Honest data. When a data point is estimated or backfilled, it's labeled. When coverage is truncated, it says so. The tool eats its own dog food: this site is built on the same GEO principles it measures.
- Lean by design. Self-serve, published pricing, a free plan that's actually useful, and no sales call between you and your data.
- Monitors 8 AI platforms with scheduled prompt runs and stored evidence.
- Tracks citation rate, brand mentions, sentiment, and competitor share of voice.
- Includes research-grounded content generation and an AI-readability site audit.
- Free plan: 5 monitored ChatGPT prompts, no time limit. Self-serve paid plans from the pricing page.
